Boulder deserves leadership that shows up.

Boulder merece un liderazgo que esté presente.

I am running because our city is at a critical crossroads and we need leadership that balances our deeply held progressive values with practical transparent solutions.  Boulder is a special place where world class innovation meets breathtaking natural beauty.  Our city’s complex interlocking crises require a diagnostician and not a career politician.  I am running as a Colorado State Police Trooper asked me to solve your problems where I am capable of helping you.    

As an Internal Medicine and Public Health medical doctor, and as a Real Estate Broker who who also went to MBA and Law School I look at Boulder through a unique lens.  I am also President of the Colorado Event Association LLC and the Colorado Tenant Association LLC.  I could write grants in order to win possibly for Boulder big monies.  We are also able to do events in order to generate income from tourists like the Sun Dance Film Festival.  I see that Boulder has incredible potential but affordability, safety and economic health require urgent, expert opinion intervention.

My campaign is based on a framework of sustainable vitality – a data driven approach proving that climate action and business growth can succeed together and not compete against one another.  In medicine we treat root causes not just symptoms.  True preventative care for Boulder means building an economic ecosystem where local businesses thrive because they are green.  I will cut the bureaucratic red tape that suffocates small businesses.  We will position Boulder as a premier national incubator for green technology and sustainable commerce.

By streamlining regulatory processes and offering tangible incentives for businesses that reduce their carbon footprint, we will attract high-wage climate-forward jobs.  This expands our tax base and funds our public services. 

Furthermore, as a real estate broker I understand the mechanics of housing and commercial development.  We cannot separate the health of our business community from the health of our housing market.  Health is dependent upon housing stability.  Housing instability negatively impacts health.
